A research initiative examining redevelopment potential, land-use change, and investment opportunities across Boston’s inner-ring suburban communities.

Completed while at ORG, the study was sponsored by NAIOP and MIT. It examined how transportation access, aging commercial and industrial properties, housing demand, municipal policy, and shifting user needs could influence future redevelopment patterns across the region.

The work focused on identifying where changing market conditions and underutilized real estate could create opportunities for adaptive reuse, mixed-use development, industrial repositioning, and other forms of value creation.
